Participants were 75 footballers (61 males, 14 females). For the purpose of this study, Orientation to Sports Superiority Dimensions Scale was used, which consisted of 54 items. Results indicated that the level of orientation to sport superiority dimensions in the total score on the scale was moderate (76%). Moreover, the level of self-control-directed orientation was the highest (84%). The percentage of the dimensions of sense of responsibility-directed orientation (60%) and people's respect-directed orientation (61%). The findings also showed that there were statistically significant differences between male and female footballers in their orientation to sport superiority at the level of (α= 0.01) due to gender in favour of female footballers. },author={عواطف صالح الهران-عماد عبد الرحيم الزغول},year={2019},journal={المجلة الدولية للبحوث الأكاديمية }}
