Türkçe, deyimler yönünden oldukça zengin bir dildir. Bu çalışmada Ertuğrul Kemal Eyüboğlunun On Üçüncü Yüzyıldan Günümüze kadar Şiirde ve Halk Dilinde Atasözleri ve Deyimler) adlı kitabında ikileme şeklinde kullanılan deyimleri yapı, anlam, ses, kök ve sözdizimi açısından incelenmiştir. Giriş bölümünde ikilemelerin ve deyimlerin tanımı yapılmış, diğer araştırmacıların tanımlarına değinilmiştir. Bu bölümde kitabın önemi ve düzeni ile ilgili bilgiler de verilmiştir. Tezin ana kısmını oluşturan inceleme bölümünde, deyimlerde kullanılan ikilemeler '' yapı, anlam, ses, sözdizimi ve kök bakımından beş ana başlıkta incelenmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde Türkçe ikilemelerden en çok yalın durumunda kullanılan ikilemeler tespit ettik. Ayrıca taranan deyimlerden çıkan ikilemelerin sayısı verilmiştir.
An analytical study of the words in form of repetitions in the book entitled "Proverbs" and the words spoken in the language of people and poetry form the thirteenth century to the present day "by Artgrel Kamal Ayouboglu".
