سعى هذا البحث إلى دراسة شريحة من شرائح لغة الشعر الحديث في قطاع عرضي منها، تعتمد على التحليل اللغوي الشامل المستمد في مساراته واتجاهاته من نحو النص (Grammer of text)، ومحاولة تطبيق ذلك المنهج بالفكر العربي في نظرته للتراكيب النحوية والدلالية، وقد تعرضت الدراسة إلى إشكالية السؤال وأسلوبه واستراتيجيته في لغة الشعر الحديث عامة وفي شعر (أدونيس) خاصة، معتمدة على الإحصاء لضبط الظاهرة اللغوية المتتبعة
