Bu çalışma, Yemen'de kadınları sosyal, ekonomik ve bilişsel olarak güçlendirmede sosyal kalkınma merkezlerinin rolünü ve sosyal kalkınma merkezlerinin kadınları güçlendirmede karşılaştığı zorlukları bilmeyi amaçlamıştır.

Araştırmacının betimsel analitik yöntemi araştırma yerine uygunluğu nedeniyle kullandığı ve araştırma evrenini sosyal gelişim merkezlerine giden (100) kadın, araştırmanın asıl örneklemini ise (50) kadın oluşturmuştur.

Araştırmanın amaçlarına ulaşmak için araştırmacı, dört alana (sosyal alan, ekonomik alan, bilgi alanı ve sosyal kalkınma merkezlerinin karşılaştığı zorluklar) bölünmüş (24) maddeden oluşan bir anket tasarlamıştır.

This study aimed to identify the role of social development centers in empowering women socially, economically and knowledgeably in Yemen, and the challenges faced by social development centers in empowering women.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method for its relevance to the field of research, and the research community consisted of (100) women who went to social development centers, and the main research sample was (50) women.

To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of 24 items divided into four domains (the social domain, the economic domain, the knowledge domain and the difficulties facing social development centers).

Some women also lack social awareness of the importance of empowerment, and the weakness of some rehabilitation and training programs offered to women. A number of women’s empowerment specialists reported that these centers She faces difficulties in empowering women due to the small number of centers compared to other centers.
